Welcome to Sheena's Healing Hands Reiki Training. We are passionate about helping people to reach their health and wellness goals through the ancient practice of Reiki. Our experienced team has been providing Reiki services for over 13 years, and we are committed to providing the best possible experience for each of our clients.
Our Reiki course is tailored to meet your needs, and educates you in both the Eastern and Western descriptions of how Reiki works. Our classes focus on providing a sense of healing and calmness in your body, and we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients. Sheena's Healing Hands offers Reiki Training to the Master Level of Reiki.
The Master level is divided into two parts: level 3A, which is the Master Practitioner, and level 3B, which is the Master Teacher. More information is available upon request.
Sheena offers Reiki courses in small groups, maximum group of four people to ensure you receive the most effective outcome from your training. It is extremely valuable for students to have the opportunity to explore and experience Reiki in these courses. Sheena schedules training whenever she is asked to put on a training session and some pre-set dates occur every two months. Please contact Sheena if you have any questions.

The 1st Degree course is over two days (approximately 14 hrs) and consists of:-

​The 1st Degree consists of Four Reiki Attunements - two on each day

During this training you will learn about the history of Reiki and the foundations of Reiki with Dr Usui. All training information will be found in the course module.

You will learn about spiritual protection.

You will learn about the Chakra and Chi flow and some basic information with regard to Aromatherapy and Kinesiology.

You will experience and learn how to carry out an aura cleanse on yourself and another person.

You will experience and learn how to carry out a Reiki treatment on yourself. This is guided on your second day which is the start of your Reiki 21 day cleanse. (This works on healing you and your emotions/relationships, a must for all Reiki practitioners.)

You learn how to carry out a Reiki treatment on another person.

You will receive a Reiki treatment during your training from another person so you are aware of what Reiki feels like.

You will receive a Reiki candle at the end of the course

You will receive a certificate to display.

If you would like to receive a guided meditation to enhance your Reiki energy once attuned to Reiki, please provide a USB.

If you would like Reiki Music to help you carry out your Reiki Self treatments it can be added to your USB.

You will receive ongoing support and the opportunity to attend Reiki Shares. These are held at Sheena's Healing Hands. The meetings are exclusive to Reiki students, and are a helpful way to ask questions and share experiences.

Morning Tea is provided on both days of the training and BYO Lunch.

The 2nd Degree consists of one Reiki Attunement.

You will learn about the history of Reiki symbols and how to use the Four Sacred Symbols. All training information carried out will be given to you in a course module.

You will learn about spiritual protection using your Reiki symbols.

You will experience and learn how to carry out brand-new Reiki treatments on yourself. (This works on healing you and your emotions/relationships, a must for all Reiki practitioners.)

You will learn how to carry out two new Reiki treatments to use on another person.

You will receive two Reiki treatments during your training from another person so you are aware of what new Reiki treatments feel like.

This course will teach you how to send distance Reiki healing with different techniques.

Learn how to use Reiki to clear your house of negative energies.

You will receive information and advice about how to set yourself up in business with your newly acquired skills and what is needed legally.

You will receive a certificate for you to display.

Reiki Training - How do you choose a Reiki Master
Suggested questions to ask when choosing your Reiki Master
Usually a combination of gut feeling and looking for someone affiliated to a creditable association (Reiki Australia is an example). Here are some questions that can help gauge a Reiki practitioner’s credibility.
Q. When were you trained to each level that you practice?
A. It’s optimal for each level of Reiki training to be given separately, with adequate time to practice before going to the next level. You need only a First-degree practitioner to give you hands-on treatment.
Q. How long was your training at each level?
A. Approximately 14 hours within a group class is adequate for First and again for Second degree.
Q. Was your training in-person with a Reiki master?
A. Internet training does not replace the onsite presence of a qualified Reiki master and their availability to provide you continuing support. Reiki Australia will only recognize you being in the presence of your Reiki Master for the attunements.
Q. What clinical experience does the Reiki Master have? For example have you offered Reiki treatment to people outside your family and friends (and pets, if applicable)?
A. This question will help you get to know the practitioner better, and provides valuable information for you to factor into your choice. Remember that a practitioner need not be a professional to give you a treatment, but if someone is advertising themself as a professional and charging you, they should have the training and experience to back it up.
Q. What happens during your Reiki sessions?
A. I’d take it as a bad sign if the practitioner gets all cosmic on you at this point. What you’re looking for here is a down-to-earth description of the experience, that you will lie fully clothed on a treatment table, that the practitioner will place hands lightly and non-invasively, how long the session will last,
Q. Where will the Reiki session take place?
A. Expect a professional to have a private, dedicated treatment space.
Q. What is the fee and how/when is it paid?
A. The fees for Reiki training vary enormously. Keep looking until you find a course that is financially comfortable for you. Remember that choosing to learn Reiki is a one-time investment that pays lifelong dividends.
Keep in mind; if you are paying someone who considers herself to be a Reiki professional it is best make sure she meets your professional standards and a member of an appropriate association. Please use your intuition to guide you as you need to feel comfortable and confident with the person who will be attuning you. You need to carry out a 21 day cleanse to heal yourself before you can help others.
